To me, there's only one true coding language and it's PHP.

PHP, like any language, is a learned discipline. You must put the time into it to become preficient and an authority in it. I recommend you do the following:
PHP has much power and you should take an opportunity to learn it.

Most of us are stuck on Javascript and it's child jQuery, but these are performed on the users browser. This achilles tendon takes all of the power from the code writer and gives it all to the end user. Should they turn Javascript off in their browser and your site will crash and burn. PHP is performed on the server, prior to the end user even seeing it!

For this, I love PHP!

Take the time to read/review/learn PHP and you will become a fan of it just as I am!

Something I've noticed is that too many people rely on codes to make stuff happen on Jcink forums.

You can actually edit the templates and use variables that the software already offers. For example, visit https://jcink.com/main/wiki/jfh-html-templates

It will show a user many different variables that will automatically insert information an data.

Once a user grasps all that is available, there's so much that can be done to make a unique Jcink board!
